“Blueprint of the lawn. Six trees to be called “Memorial Trees” in sacred memory of our boys who made the supreme sacrifice during the World War.”
Some of the Memorial Trees have been removed over the years due to disease or damage. The ones that remain are tall and strong and provide the Library with shade and beauty. We thank those who served and sacrificed during World War 1, and to those in the past that had the good thought of providing a lasting memorial of those lost for generations to come.
